Eligibility

For people ages 18-35

Exclusion criteria

  • history of substance abuse
  • mental illness in a first degree relative
  • significant medical illness (e.g. cancer, diabetes, heart disease, HIV)
  • history of seizure
  • open head injury or closed head injury with loss of consciousness > 1 min
  • pregnancy
  • current psychotropic drug use
  • R-hand injury
  • hearing or visual impairment
  • urine toxicology positive for recreational drug use

    Dr. Young received his BSc. (Hons) in Psychology with Biology and his Ph.D. in Psychopharmacology in the Department of Neuroscience, at the University of Edinburgh, sponsored by the Fujisawa Institute for Neuroscience in Edinburgh. He worked for a year at Organon Laboratories in Scotland prior to his arrival at UCSD to conduct his Post-Doctoral training in 2006.
